DUC IN ALTUM: PUT OUT INTO THE DEEP

 

The Catholic Fine Arts Council of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas was pleased to present the first Regional Juried Christian Arts Competition and Exhibition, which debuted this fall of 2017 at the Savior Pastoral Center in Kansas City, Kansas. This juried competition and exhibition primarily saught to foster the arts of the Western Christian tradition. Other artistic traditions of Christian subject matter were considered, also.


 

Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony

The Opening Reception on October 17, 2017 at Savior Pastoral Center was a huge success! Over 120 attendees came to enjoy appetizers and the beautiful artwork lining the Art Hall. Thank you to all our artists who submitted their work, Dr. Denis McNamara, John and Pat Menghini, and members of the Catholic Fine Arts Council for making this event possible!
